a Gaian-folk Song Circle Gathering

Singing Alive Hawaii

March 20-22, 2026

In Harmonics of Deepening Communion

About the Gathering

Singing Alive is a DIY-style, community-based, song circle event. It is devoted to the collective singing experience. You can sing as much or as little as you feel moved to do so. No singing experience necessary. We share songs in ways that teach them to others, and encourages participation.

Our container, held as ceremony, is our main attraction. We call in Singers that are exploring self-awareness. self-responsibility. We call in songs that act as medicine, as way-showers. Songs that help us clear out what that no longer serves, that help us set new harmonics of well-being. We align to the Gaian folk-song genre, subject matters that midwife us out of the ego-mind of history (separation), and into the heart-space of remembrance (connection). We sing to feel into and own our authenticity, and carry songs to offer our gifts to others.

Our intent is to in provide a nature-based, restorative environment that acts as a retreat. This to allow the natural altruism of our humanness to surface, to voice and embody the melodic magic of the songs. This event prioritizes the voice (the body) as the primary instrument. All other musical instruments are in service to it.
